Shamanic Medicine Boxes - set of four

I can’t claim to have done anything to these intricately carved Sumatran shaman medicine boxes other than clean them! They are perfect as they are. They were found during an expedition to track down something entirely different. Sometimes the best treasures are discovered that way. Beautifully detailed carvings. Two boxes have round bases with lids that fit snugly. Two boxes have lids that are held in place with tiny wood pins. The boxes are meant to hold the magical potions of a shaman. Absoutely fascinating!

Largest with Round Base (far right in first group picture): 3” wide x 2.25” deep x 8.25” high

Smaller with Round Base (far left in first group picture): 2.75” wide x 2” deep x 7.5” high

Larger without Round Base - can also hang (second from right in first group picture): 3.25” wide x 1.5” deep x 7” high

Hanging - stand not included (second from left in first group picture): 2.25” wide x 1” deep x 7” high
