Swaley the Swallows Dresser
Swaley was a slim, angular kid, leafing through a paperback at the airport, waiting to board her plane. It was about to be the day that would change the rest of her life. A model scout just happened to be in the same bookstore. Looking at her intently, the scout could see past her worn, brown grunge clothing that hung on her like an old bag caught in a winter tree. She could see the stylish lines and elegance she would have once she was trained for the catwalks of Paris. Swaley never looked back.
Haute couture fashion designers took to Swaley immediately. Here she is, dressed head to toe in Jean Paul Gaultier's "Hirondellles" wallpaper and accented with the vintage mid centrury brass drawer pull jewelery she was wearing that famous day in the airport.
Solid walnut vintage nine drawer dresser by Stanley Furniture, refinished in a coffee toned stain. Drawer fronts covered in Jean Paul Gaultier's "Hirondelles" (swallows) wallpaper. Sealed with clear polyacrylic finish. Three original vintage solid brass drawer pulls on recessed center drawers. Side drawers are opened using recessed edges. All drawers are lined. Top left drawer has original coin tray inside.
