Scarlett the Desk
It was a dark and stormy night. All around town, doors were shut tight and cats cowered under dripping eaves. It would have been easy not to notice a slight young gentleman dragging what could have been a body out from the shadows and onto the street corner. He hurried back and then disappeared down the side of a house. The night stormed on.
When the wind had whipped its last and dawn struggled through the still heavy skies, it was possible to make out the suspicious shape among a pile of discarded household items. Suddenly, a car lurched to a halt, backed up around a corner and out sprung a recently caffeinated woman. She had correctly identified the mysterious deposit as a mid-century style desk on the side of the road. Hauling the heavy piece to it’s feet, she awkwardly pushed it into the back of her car. 7:50 AM and the first rescue of the day was already underway!
Scarlett the Desk is the result of that fortunate January morning. Warmly wrapped in a brightly colored kilim style coat, she has red rainboots to match.
Desk or console table with single lined drawer. Desk case and drawer front wrapped in “Tropical Sunrise” designer wallpaper from Florary Fabrics.
